
This side by side Hamerless type made in Belgium branded ''Centaure'', in possession since many years by the owner family,
was entrusted to us in order to total restoration: iron and woods.

 | Inventory, as recived: all external metal parts are deeply pitted. Original finish cannot be seen on many parts. Woods are stained, scartched, punched. All screws are out of alignment.

Complete take down, control of parts.

All parts are controled. Complete take down of all parts in the frame.
The empty frame is reassembled on the stock in order to use as support.
Woods are sanded. Then, wood grains are filled.

By this time, some metalic parts are prepared to blueing, and then blueed by
''slow rust'' method (''à la couche'') in order to match the old and original finish.
For that shotgun, preparation started with the.... file!

All parts are cleaned including inside in order to assure a correct working
for long years.

Like this, the frame and the trigger guard are perfecty cleaned before reassembly.
